Pippa was a founding member of MACAW and contributed so much to creating the vision of what a community can do to promote wellness for seniors, building intergenerational connections that promote health and an enduring sense of community.  We so miss her kindness, generosity and enthusiasm. Her legacy will always be remebered and cherished.

Don was  a valued volunteer for MACAW who brought his years of expertise as a cameraman and film maker to filming and editing almost 100 concert shows for MACAW. We could not have produced the exceptionally high quality  videos we have without Don's dedication and tireless effort. Don will be missed by all of us at MACAW and we are proud that his work will continue to reach our viewers though our web site and You Tube channel.

Larry Ellis

larry ellis.jpg

Larry Ellis, often referred to as "Mr. Manotick" for his years of contributions to keeping the history of Manotick alive and vibrant was a dedicated supporter and contributor to Manotick and Area Centre for Arts and Wellness. His Fireside story videos about places and events in Manotick in years gone by were favourites and are still available to view from our special guest section. MACAW was successful in reaching our community through the efforts of many volunteers and Larry was one of our most enthusiastic and effective spokespersons. In addition to contributing many interesting video stories to our calendar of events Larry often referred to MACAW events in his regular articles in the Manotick Messenger. We will deeply miss Larry, but we will always remember his infectious smile and good humour.
